A former farmhouse and 3-acre site is being repurposed into a wellness retreat with guest accommodation, requiring a new landscape design. The entrance drive has been remodelled with a tree avenue gracing a large garden, overlooked by a terrace designed for dining and seating. New parking spaces border a grand new entry garden to the house, reflecting its architecture. Extensive herbaceous planting beyond is partitioned by curved hedging, creating a journey through the garden and orchard. Several seating areas have been allocated, and vistas through the length of the garden have been preserved. The design includes spaces for vegetable growing, a children’s play area, sauna, hot tub, and wellness studio.
