Wiltshire Garden

This contemporary house featured only a gravelled front and an embryonic rear garden. Definition and a prominent welcome were added to the house entrance with a water feature, herbaceous planting and new paving, which reflect the modern architecture. The rear garden is flanked by large borders planted in a contemporary style with ornamental grasses extending the seasonal interest. The owners’ love of roses was realised with a single species walk-way surrounding seating and topiary forms. Wildflower planting, which envelopes various seating areas, transition the garden into the surrounding meadows and substantial bulb planting has been undertaken throughout the site.
